Motivational keynote speaker for hire Rorke Denver is an American hero and retired Navy SEAL Commander. He has lead special forces missions abroad in the Middle East, Latin America, Africa and other international locations. Since retiring from combat, Rorke is perhaps best recognized for his leading role in the 2012 movie Act of Valor based on real-life Navy SEAL events. In 2013, Rorke published his NY Times bestselling book titled Damn Few: Making the Modern SEAL Warrior explaining the Navy SEAL program training process. Rorke can currently be seen as a team leader on the hit FOX reality TV series American Grit also starring Army veteran and fellow motivational speaker Noah Galloway.

Rorke is an incredibly intelligent motivational keynote speaker who graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and went on to earn his masters in Global Business Leadership from the University of San Diego. In 1999, Rorke completed the legendary SEAL underwater demolition program and spent the next 13 years as a SEAL commander and training leader. Rorke was in charge of hundreds of top secret advance-forced operations involving maritime interdiction, hostage rescue, and counter-insurgency.

Rorke and his team performed many successful special recon missions, sniper operations and ground assaults during his years spent abroad. In 2006, Rorke was put in charge of SEAL response in Iraq’s Al Anbar Province, one of the most combat-heavy war zones for SEALs since Vietnam. He and his team have largely been credited for the “Tribal Awakening” which helped neutralize the dangerous Shia insurgency. 3 years later, Rorke returned to the U.S. and accepted a role as First Phase Officer of Basic Training. In addition to Hell Week, he went on to run all phases of the SEAL training program from advanced sniper instruction to hand-to-hand combat and communication.

Upon his retirement from the military, Rorke was awarded the Bronze Star with a “V” for valorous action in combat. He followed up his NY Times bestseller with another book in April of 2016 titled Worth Dying For: A Navy SEALs Call to a Nation. In it he discussed the emotions and driving forces that compel SEALs to defend the country at all costs and how it affects them later in life. As a keynote speaker, Rorke shares personal stories from his time in the military and life lessons in leadership, courage, and preparing your team for battle.
