Ree Drummond

Celebrity chef speaker Ree Drummond is a blogger, food writer, author and a TV personality who lives on a ranch in Oklahoma. In her blog, Confessions of a Pioneer Woman, Chef Ree writes about being a rural wife and mother, shows her photograph skills and her delicious recipes. In 2009, 2010 and 2011 The Bloggies named Chef Drummond’s blog Weblog of the Year. Ree Drummond has also written several cookbooks, including The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl, which was published in 2009, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food from My Frontier, published in 2012, and most recently, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: A Year of Holidays: 140 Step-by-Step Recipes for Simple, Scrumptious Celebrations which earned was named the number 1 Best Seller in Home Entertaining on Amazon.com in 2013. Ree also has a cooking show called Pioneer Woman, which premiered on The Food Network in August of 2011. The series showcases her cooking talents and glimpses into her life on the ranch.

She began blogging in May 2006 and wrote about ranch life and homeschooling then incorporated writing about ‘How to Cook a Steak” along with photos explaining the step by step process. She is also an author of Black Heels to Tractor Wheels chronicling her move from LA to Chicago where she met her cowboy husband.
