Chef Jon Ashton is a chef, celebrity chef speaker, media personality, and contributor for publications. Jon gives credit to his grandmother for his successful career in cooking as she introduced him to it at a young age in Liverpool, England. He cooked in several famous kitchens in England, including The Kirkfield Hotel in Newton Le-Willows and the Derby Lodge Hotel before moving to the United States to continue to follow his culinary dream of teaching.
Chef Ashton continues to carry out his mission to share his passion for culinary arts by teaching people to enjoy cooking and enjoy being in the kitchen as the food correspondent for the national morning show, The Daily Buzz, which reaches more than 160 stations nation-wide. He is also the contributing Editor for Parade magazine and for Parade’s monthly food supplement, dash magazine which, combined, allows him to reach tens of millions of readers. Dash magazine also sponsors an annual multi-city cooking show tour called dash Around the Table where Chef Jon Ashton joins other local celebrity chefs in demonstrating simple, fast and delicious dishes while interacting with the audience. Chef Ashton has appeared on networks such as ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, and countless others for interviews associated with the tour.
Several big name corporations have chosen to work with Chef Jon throughout his career, including ConAgra, Procter & Gamble, the national Dairy Council, Walt Disney, and J.M. Smucker Company to name a few. Chef Ashton continues to make appearances and give cooking demonstrations around the country at Food Shows as well as doing media tours.
