Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun after he watched Justin’s videos on YouTube. Scooter arranged for Justin Bieber to meet Usher in Atlanta and he soon signed with Raymond Braun Media Group, a joint venture between Scoot Braun and Usher.
Justin Bieber released his debut single, One Time, in 2009 and peaked in the top ten in Canada and charted in the top thirty in international markets. By November 2009, his second single, My World was later certified platinum in the United States. Justin’s first full studio release, My World 2.0 was released in March 2010 and upon release, was number one and top ten in several countries. He starred in his 3D biopic concert film, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never which had an opening weekend gross which matched the record for the biggest opening weekend for a concert-film. He released his third album and another platinum certified work with, Believe, which was released Summer of 2012.
He is the winner of Artist of the Year at the 2010 and 2012 American Music Awards, was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards. With a world-wide fan base of “Beliebers”, Justin has been named to Forbes Magazine’s annual list, “Top Ten Most Powerful Celebrities in the World” three times since 2011.
