Vern Yip

Celebrity Speaker Vern Yip is an interior designer who came on to the reality TV scene in 2003 as one of the designers on the hit TLC series Trading Spaces. The show helped launch Yip’s career along with fellow designers Frank Bielec, Laurie Hickson-Smith, and Genevieve Gorder. It also was the path to fame for carpenters Carter Oosterhouse, Andrew Dan Jumbo, and the famous host of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Ty Pennington. As a Home and Garden and interior design expert, Yip serves as a panel judge on HGTV’s Design Star and has hosted four seasons of HGTV’s, Deserving Design and HGTV’s Urban Oasis. Vern Yip is available for endorsements, product promotion and trade shows.

Vern Yip has also appeared on several other television programs throughout his career including Making of an HGTV Design Star, Live with Regis and Kelly, Good Day Live, Trading Spaces: Family, HGTV Summer Showdown, First Time Design, The Nate Berkus Show, Bang for your Buck, HGTV Design Star, Castle: Your Home Is Your Castle, and Deserving Design.
