Celebrity speaker for hire Tim Cook is the current CEO of Apple Inc. A successful businessman, engineer and developer, he served as Apple’s SVP of Operations and Chief Operating Officer before assuming his current role in 2011. He was responsible for all of the company’s worldwide sales and operations, including end-to-end management of Apple’s supply chain, sales activities, and service and support in all markets and countries.

Tim’s tenure and role in Apple has been praised by many people, specifically the way he has harmonized and stabilized the organization following the unfortunate death of Steve Jobs. By launching new iconic products like Apple Watch, AirPods and Siri, Cook’s led Apple to new financial heights.

In 2012, he was named on Time Magazine’s List Of 100 Most Influential People in The World. In 2015, Tim was named Fortune Magazine’s Leader of The Year, demonstrating how highly respected he is within the business world.

As the leader of a great and influential company, Cook takes the responsibility for making Apple as sustainable as possible by using solar energy in majority of its corporate facilities. Most recently, in 2019, Cook gave the keynote speech at the Ceres 30th Anniversary Gala in New York City, supporting the sustainability nonprofit organization. Cook was invited to share Apple’s outlook on the future of sustainable energy.

Other than believing in sustainability, Cook addresses health and wellness as hallmarks of a successful company. He said Apple has been investing in health and wellness in recent years as it capitalized on the success of its Watch and hired dozens of doctors to bolster its health technology segment.

Since Cook took over as CEO, he has also significantly increased the amount Apple commits to charity. He donated close to $5 million in Apple stock to an unnamed charity in both 2018 and 2019.

Due to Cook’s undoubtable business prowess, it is no wonder he is a captivating public speaker. He has given several commencement addresses in recent years. The most recent one was at Stanford in June 2019, and others included: Tulane University in May 2019, his graduate alma mater Duke University in 2018, MIT in 2017, George Washington University in 2015 and his undergraduate alma mater Auburn University in 2010.

As always caring about important social issues, Cook is known for his activism regarding LGBTQ rights. Since becoming CEO, Cook has strongly pushed for inclusion and diversity, which Apple refers to as its “greatest strength” on its website. “To create products that serve everyone, we believe in including everyone.”

With incredible knowledge of both the corporate and business world as well as a being major difference maker in the social climate of the United States, Cook is a fantastic choice for any corporate event or occasion.
