Regis Philbin

Getting his start as a talk show host and game show host in the 1960’s, Regis Philbin is often referred to as “the hardest working man in show business.” Regis is record holder for the most time spent in front of a TV camera from the Guinness Book of World Records. He is famous for his high excitement, New York Bronx accent, his wittiness and his time spent on Live with Regis and Kelly. Before Live, he was host on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Million Dollar Password and America’s Got Talent.

Before Kelly Ripa joined Regis in front of the camera, Kathy Lee Gifford was his co-host and the show was called Live With Kathy Lee. Upon Kathy leaving the show, the show’s name became Live with Regis and Kelly. In January 2011, Regis Philbin made the announcement that he would be leaving Live with Regis and Kelly after the 2010-2011 season, but then moved the date to the end of November 2011. Since 2012, Regis has been a recurring monthly co-host on Rachael Ray. Most recently, Regis received a Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Trine University on May 9th, 2015, after delivering the commencement speech to graduates.

Regis is the recipient of many prestigious awards and has been inducted into the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. Regis Philbin is available for speaking engagements, personal appearances, and endorsements.
