Red Gerard

Olympic Champion and motivational sports speaker for hire Red Gerard made history at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. An underdog in the Snowboard Slopestyle, Red surprised the world when he beat the world’s best snowboarders to bring home the Gold Medal. He’s a fun-loving, “normal” teenager that just so happens to be one of the best snowboarders in the world bar none. Following his slopestyle Gold, Red went on a whirlwind media tour back in the U.S. before returning to South Korea to compete in the Snowboard Big Air event. He made it to the finals in Big Air as well. With stardom comes opportunity, and Red is now accepting personal appearance opportunities to include autograph signings, meet & greets, moderated Q&A sessions as well as marketing and promotional endorsements.

Perhaps the coolest part of Red’s story starts in his own backyard. He is an Ohio native who has spent most of his childhood in Summit County, Colorado. He is the sixth of seven children in his family and all of his siblings have a passion for snowboarding and the outdoors. This passion led to the creation of their own, full blown snowboard park complete with rails, various ramps and a tow rope back to the top of the course. Looking back, you could say this was time well spent!

Despite being a relatively unknown in Olympic competition, snowboarding fans have gotten a full dose of Red Madness in the past few years. He is signed as a member of the Burton Global Team of snowboarders and has been a leading star of Transworld Snowboarding’s most recent videos. At just 17, Red is poised to become one of the most popular figures in men’s snowboarding today.
