Phil Dalhausser

Olympic Speaker and professional beach volleyball player, Phil Dalhausser along with former partner Todd Rogers were the FIVB World Champions and the 2007 AVP Tour Champions. The duo dominated the US tour and now the FIVB international tour winning #1 team honors on both tours in 2010. They were also the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic gold medalists.

At the 2008 Olympic Games, Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rodgers were the top seeded American team through the international qualification process. They had a 6-1 record in their first Olympics, and proceeded to win the remaining of their games to win the gold medal against Marcio Araujo and Fabio Luiz Magalhaes of Brazil. On the women’s side, Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh were the gold medal winners and this made the US the only country to win gold medals in men’s and women’s beach volleyball at the same Olympics.

Now partnered with Sean Rosenthal, Phil looks to continue his domination of the FIVB on the sand. In 2014, Phil was named the FIVB Most Outstanding Player of the Year. Phil and Sean have their sights set on the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio; the duo is sure to make a big splash next year as one of the hottest beach volleyball duos going into Rio. With endorsements from Under Armour, Red Bull, and Rapidforce, Phil is becoming one of the biggest global names for beach volleyball.
