Celebrity Speaker Penn Badgley is a well-known actor and musician. He has been featured in many films and television shows, but is best known for his roles in Gossip Girl and You. The actor was born in Maryland and after his parents divorced and split his time between Virginia and Washington, he moved to Hollywood at age 11. Badgley wanted to start his music and acting careers, and recorded his first single in 1998. In 1999 to 2000, he made his acting debut on an episode of Will & Grace.

In addition, Penn also made appearances on The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In 2010 he became a proud member of the National Celebrity Cabinet for The American Red Cross. Badgley proudly supports the Tahirih Justice Center, which is a nonprofit to protect immigrant women and children.
