Paul Wahlberg

The success of the Wahlberg family has been well documented, and the buck does not stop with Paul Wahlberg.  Paul is the older brother of famous siblings Donnie and Mark Wahlberg, and is embarking on his own success as a chef and celebrity speaker.  He grew up in Massachusetts in the same rough and tumble environment that helped shape other members of his family.

Celebrity Speaker Paul Wahlberg is a rising chef with a celebrity pedigree.  He opened up a restaurant in the greater Boston area called Wahlburger.  The restaurant is a partnership between Paul and his two celebrity brothers Donnie and Mark.  The name of the restaurant actually had to be purchased from Tom Wahl’s in order to avoid a copyright infringement.  Wahlburger is a bar and casual dining restaurant designed to appeal to the average person or couple looking for a drink and a meal.  The restaurant has gained particular notoriety as the setting for the A&E television show Wahlburgers, that features Paul, Donnie and Mark prominently in the show.  The show first premiered in January of 2014.  It earned a great deal of praise from reality television critics and has been renewed for a second season.  Paul also operates another restaurant called Alma Nove, which is also in the Boston area.  Paul is a big supporter of the locavore movement and supports local food producers and distributors in the area.  This includes fish and seafood procured by fisherman right on the South Shore.  Although the restaurant is relatively young in age, Alma Nove has garnered a great reputation in just a few years.  It was the named the Best New Restaurant in South Boston 2011, and the Best Bar in 2013.  In recent years Paul has seen his personal celebrity skyrocket with the opening of his two restaurants and his first presence on television.
