Paul Teutul Sr.

Paul Teutul, Sr.’s motorcycle expertise, ruggedness, and business sense has brought entertainment to homes across the states. Reality TV Speaker Paul Teutul, Sr. is the founder of Orange County Ironworks and Orange County Choppers. After serving in the Merchant Marine during the Vietnam War, Teutul went on to own Orange County Ironworks, a custom fabrication shop. Known for his business sense and need for cleanliness, his son once called him “Martha Stewart on a motorcycle.” In 1999, Paul Teutul Sr’s desire to build custom bikes led him to leave Orange County Ironworks to his son Daniel and found Orange County Choppers with his other son, Paul Jr.

In March 2003, Paul Teutul Sr. became the focus of the Discovery Channel reality television series American Chopper, which documents the lives of the Teutuls and other motorcycle fabricators of Orange County Choppers. The astounding popularity of American Choppers led to the creation of two videogames and two books. In 2010, American Chopper ended as Teutul Sr’s son, Paul Jr. left Orange county Choppers to form his own chopper company. A new TLC series, American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior, documents the aftermath of this decision and the competition between shops. In 2013, Paul debuted his new show, Orange County Choppers, on CMT. Paul was also a contestant on the fifth season of The Celebrity Apprentice. Paul Teutul, Sr.  is available for speaking engagements, infomercials, and personal appearances.
