Nigel Barker

Reality TV speaker Nigel Barker, author, spokesperson, filmmaker, fashion photographer and former model; is best known as a judge and photographer on America’s Next Top Model.

Wanting to pursue a career in medicine, until his mother, a former Miss Sri Lanka entered Nigel in a TV model search on The Clothes Show. Much to his surprise, he was a finalist on the show, starting his modeling career. For 10 years, he traveled London, Milan, Paris and New York modeling.

After many years of modeling, he decided to become a photographer and opened his own photo studio called StudioNB in the Meat Packing District in Manhattan. His photos have been seen in GQ, Interview, Lucky, tattler, Cover, Town & Country, Seventeen, Nicole Miller, Ted Baker, Lands End, Nine West, Lexus, Leviev, Beefeater, Pamella Roland, Ford and Sony.

Reality TV speaker Nigel Barker was a judge on Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model and in 2007 judged the Miss America Pageant.  He is also the executive producer for the VH1 photography reality contest, The Shot and co-host on the Oxygen Network’s The Face alongside Naomi Campbell. In 2013, Nigel collaborated with SHUT Skateboards to create a unique skateboard featuring his photography and also launched a New York inspired fragrance collection with Demeter Fragrance Library.

He has been the spokesperson for Microsoft, Sony, Crest White Strips and Nine West. As well as a TV personality, photographer, former model, etc. Nigel is an ambassador for the UN Foundation’s Girl Up initiative. He is also a spokesperson and ambassador for the Make A Wish Foundation, ASPCA and The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Nigel Barker is available for speaking engagements, hosting and autograph signings.
