Celebrity Speaker Bureau, a Nancy Grace booking agent, is pleased to have a woman who is a victims’ rights advocate, legal analyst and former prosecutor who’s tell-it-like-it-is attitude gained her spot on CNN’s Headline News as the anchor of her own show, Nancy Grace. Aside from hosting her own show, Nancy has made appearances on other talks shows such as The View, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Larry King Live and Dr. Phil.
Before TV, her success as a former prosecutor was fueled by the murder of her then fiancé, Keith Griffin. She decided to go to law school after her experience with the criminal justice system and has been an advocate for victims ever since. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University’s School of Law and a Master of Laws in criminal and constitutional law from New York University. After teaching for Georgia State University College of Law and working as a Special Prosecutor in Atlanta-Fulton County, District Attorney’s Office in Georgia, she began her work in television on Court TV.
Nancy formerly worked with high profile attorney Johnnie Cochran, best known for his work with the O.J. Simpson trial, on their legal commentary show. She was later nominated for an Emmy Award for her daytime show, Swift Justice with Nancy Grace. Other awards presented to the fervent TV journalist include being named the one of the most impactful and powerful women in entertainment by both Variety Magazine and The Hollywood Reporter.
Celebrity Speaker Nancy has written 3 New York Times bestselling books since 2005, Objection! How High-Priced Defense Attorney’s, Celebrity Defendants, and a 24/7 Media Have Hijacked Our Criminal Justice System; The Eleventh Victim, and Death on the D-List.
When Nancy isn’t writing books or working on her news broadcast, she donates to charities and even participated in ABC’s wildly popular dance competition series, Dancing with the Stars. Nancy and her partner Tristan MacManus placed fifth overall. Celebrity Speaker Nancy donated all of her earnings from the show to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Her experience as a fierce victims’ rights advocate and position as an influential celebrity personality make her an engaging celebrity speaker for events.
