Lisa Lampanelli

Lisa Lampanelli’s unconventional sense of humor has attracted a following since day one and established her as a dominant force in the comedy world. Comedienne Lisa Lampanelli started her career in journalism, working at Popular Mechanics, Rolling Stone, and Spy magazine before getting her big comedy break in 2002 at the roast of Chevy Chase. Known as “Comedy’s Lovable Queen of Mean”, Lampanelli cites Dean Martin roasts as the biggest influence on her style of humor, and coincidentally has participated in the roasts of multiple celebrities including Pamela Anderson, Flavor Flav, William Shatner, Donald Trump, and Larry the Cable Guy. Lisa Lampanelli has also served as the Roastmaster for The Howard Stern Show roasts of Gene Simmons, and Andy Dick, among others.

Lisa Lampanelli was nominated for a Best Comedy Album Grammy in 2008 for “Dirty Girl”, a Comedy Central special, and, in 2009, taped her inaugural HBO comedy special, Long Live the Queen. Later that year, Lampanelli released her well-received autobiography, Chocolate, Please: My Adventures in Food, Fat, and Freaks. Lampanelli regularly appears on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Howard Stern’s radio programs, as well as in sitcoms and movies, including the 2006 comedy Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector, and the 2007 Owen Wilson film Drillbit Taylor. Lisa Lampanelli appeared on Season 5 of The Celebrity Apprentice. Lisa has amazingly lost over 100 pounds in the past few years and adds that the weight loss has rejuvenated her career and one day wants to be a “humorous motivational speaker”. Lisa is available for speaking engagements, personal appearances and public service announcements.
