Lauren Cohan

Actress and celebrity speaker Lauren Cohan has been appearing in films and television series since her first role in a big name film, playing Sister Beatrice in the 2005 movie Casanova. Cohan joined big name actors Heath Ledger, Sienna Miller, and Jeremy Irons in the movie and her acting career was off and running. The following year, she starred in the sequel to Ryan Reynolds’ comedy National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, called National Lampoon’s Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj with actor Kal Penn. Lauren’s film career also includes roles in Young Alexander the Great, Practical, Disturbed, Death Race 2, and Reach Me in 2013.

Celebrity speaker Lauren Cohen is perhaps better known for her television acting. She has had several recurring roles including playing the character Bela Talbot in The CW series Supernatural and Rose in the popular CW series The Vampire Diaries in which she starred alongside actors Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Paul Wesley. She has also guest starred on several popular shows including Cold Case, CSI: NY, The Bold and the Beautiful, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and the ABC series Modern Family with fellow actors Ed O’Neill, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, and Ty Burrell. In 2011 she landed the role of a lifetime as Maggie Greene in AMC’s horror drama TV series, The Walking Dead. Cohan joined the cast in the second season of the show, and since then, the series has won several awards including a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Cable TV Drama and a Satellite Award for Best Television Series, Drama. It has also been nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Drama Series.
