Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round of the 2008 MLB Draft, Sports Speaker Lance Lynn was named the organizational Pitcher-of-the-Year after climbing three levels in his first full professional season.
In 2010, Lance broke the Memphis Redbirds strikeout record and on Jun 2, 2011 he made his major league debut against the San Francisco Giants. He won Game 2 of the 2011 NLCS World Series and went on to become the 2011 World Series Champions with the St. Louis Cardinals. In 2012, Lance was selected to play in his first All-Star Game and decided to make a conscious effort to change his eating habits and increase his conditioning. The following season he showed up to weigh-in 41 pounds lighter and his weight-loss continued through the 2014 season. May 27, 2014 Lance pitched his first career complete game a shutout against the New York Yankees. The Cardinals made the playoffs once again and Lance started one game each in the NLDS and in the NLCS.
Sports Speaker Lance Lynn is available for sports clinics, sporting events and personal appearances.
