Television journalist and celebrity speaker Josh Elliott began his career working for Sports Illustrated for which he covered several different sporting events. Following his six year career with the magazine, Elliott continued to work in sports, this time on television, taking a job with ESPN in 2004. Josh appeared on ESPN shows Jim Rome Is Burning and Around the Horn as a panelist before he became host of Classic Now in 2005. He was later promoted to an anchor position on ESPN’s SportsCenter alongside co-anchor Hannah Storm.
In 2011, Josh Elliott made the transition from ESPN to ABC as one of the news anchors on the national morning show Good Morning America. Josh joined fellow anchors Lara Spencer, George Staphanopoulos, Robin Roberts, and meteorologist Sam Champion on the morning show for three years before leaving the show. In 2014, Elliott signed a contract with NBC Sports. Outside of GMA, Josh Elliott also served as a substitute anchor on ABC Evening News and was co-anchor on Good Afternoon America with Lara Spencer. He has appeared as a guest on several television programs including Katie Couric’s show, Katie, The Rachael Ray Show, Entertainment Tonight, ABC’s The Chew, and The View. He also was asked to appear as a guest judge on cooking show Iron Chef America: The Series and Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off with celebrity chefs Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri. In addition to television, Elliott has also appeared in the film Side Effects which starred Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Channing Tatum, as well as the blockbuster hit Iron Man 3 with Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow.
