John Browne

Business Speaker John Browne is an English businessman most known for his role as the former CEO of BP. Browne served as the CEO of BP from 1995-2007 and is credited with much of BP’s expansion and investment into renewable energy during this time.

Browne has also experienced much success in business outside of BP. He is currently the Executive Chairman of L1 Energy and the Founder of GlassCloset.org. Browne currently is a Chairman of Tate, an institution which houses much of the UK’s National Art Collection.
