Celebrity Speaker Jessica Seinfeld has stepped out from the shadow of her famous comedian husband, Jerry Seinfeld, and continues to make a name for herself in her own right. After giving birth to her first child in 2001, Jessica decided to start her nonprofit organization, Baby Buggy, which allows families to donate children’s clothing and childcare equipment to those in need in New York City. Since its inception, Baby Buggy has donated over four million of items to needy families and was named an Accredited Charity of the Better Business Bureau.
In 2007 Jessica Seinfeld published her first cookbook, Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Food which offers her readers, parents who are home cooks, a collection of traditional recipes infused with “hidden” healthy ingredients that promise to taste good to kids while delivering on the nutritional side as well. Seinfeld’s first book went to #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list after being featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She released her second cookbook in 2010 entitled Double Delicious: Good, Simple Food for Busy, Complicated Lives, in which she not only caters to kids but to the whole family with her nutritional tricks. In 2013 she switched gears again with her third book, The Can’t Cook Book: Recipes for the Absolutely Terrified! In her newest book, Jessica targets non-cooks with a step-by-step guide to cooking over 100 recipes. Each recipe includes photos for each step so readers can compare their dish to see what it should look like making the process seamless for just about anyone.
