Jerome Jarre

As of June 2014, social media star and celebrity speaker Jerome Jarre was considered the fourth most followed individual on the video-sharing platform Vine.  Although his slapstick brand of comedy and adventure has now grown and shared on several different social media platforms, the celebrity speaker is best known for his comedic videos on Vine which hit the market in January of 2013. His vines have a holistic approach as well such as his Humans project from November 2013 where he vined strangers answering the question “What is the most important life lesson you’d like to share right now?”

In 2013, he had the opportunity to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and she asked him to cover the red carpet at the 86^th Academy Awards as a red carpet video reporter. Following the Academy Awards, Jarre was asked to Vine his way through the 2014 Cannes Lions Film Festival for +Canal. Jarre recently had the opportunity to Vine his experience at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, posting videos of the award winners as he sat in the front row.

Aside from his work as a global social media personality, Starting in New York with $400 and no home, Jarre co-founded GrapeStory with Gary Vaynerchuk in May 2013. GrapeStory is a company that helps pair mobile content creators (specifically Vine, Instagram and Snapchat) such as himself with brands looking to market themselves in mobile media platforms. One of the first campaigns that Jarre worked on was with the company GE which became the first globally-recognized brand to have their content featured on the popular section of Vine.

Jarre was also one of the first celebrity personalities to embrace the new social media platform Snapchat, starting with the Snapchat sent from outside of Snapchat’s headquarters. He uses Snapchat stories specifically to tell narratives that are around 100 seconds long. His outgoing personality and his quest to push himself outside of his own comfort zone inspires others to live life to the fullest and teaches the public not to let their fears hinder where their talents could take them in life.
