Celebrity Chef Speaker Hosea Rosenberg is a television personality most known for winning season five of the popular show, Top Chef on Bravo. In season five of the series, Chef Rosenberg went up against sixteen talented celebrity chefs, including fan favorite Fabio Viviani, and runners up Carla Hall and Stefan Richter. Throughout the series, Chef Hosea cooked for celebrity chef judges Tom Colicchio, Padma Lakshmi, Gail Simmons, Toby Young and numerous guest judges, including Iron Chef Emeril Lagasse, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Rocco DiSpirito, Jacques Pepin, Lidia Bastianich, Marcus Samuelsson, and Martha Stewart, to name a few. Chef Rosenberg has also appeared on Top Chef Masters, The Martha Stewart Show and ABC’s morning talk show, Live with Kelly and Michael.
Prior to his television debut, the celebrity chef speaker worked in countless restaurants for such distinguished chefs as Wolfgang Puck, Dave Query, and Kevin Taylor. Chef Hosea paid his dues in the restaurant industry, working for Colorado restaurants Boulder’s Dandelion Restaurant and Zolo Southwestern Grill before finally gaining the position of Executive Chef at Jax Fish House from 2004 to 2010. Today, Rosenberg owns and operates his own full service catering company called Blackbelly Catering serving locals in the Denver area. He is committed to growing Blackbelly Catering and Blackbelly Market, which he co-openend in Boulder along with star bartender James Lee. During his career, Chef Hosea has received many awards, including Best Chef of Denver International Wine Festival for three consecutive years, Guest Chef at the James Beard House, and winner of the Flatiron Chef Competition. Rosenberg has also been featured in several publications, such as Food & Wine Magazine, Denver Post, Denver Eater, and Organic Authority.
