His writing abilities have been showcased through his work as the style editor at large for the nationally syndicated lifestyle magazine C California Style Magazine. In early 2014, George signed on for a four season partnership with Gap Outlet that includes duties as a style editor and providing tips for social media, print, and in-store ads as well as promotional campaigns. This came after the release of his first book Glamorous by George: The Key to Creating Movie Star Style. In it he shares his tips, tricks and frank observations about fashion and how to achieve the look of a movie star on any budget. George was a co-founder of the annual Bag Lunch event for P.S. Arts., a non-profit organization that advocates for arts education in public schools. He is a member of the organization’s Board of Directors and co-hosts the event that auctions off over 200 handbags with all the proceeds going to P.S. Arts.
