Celebrity Speaker Demi Moore is an actress and model who got her first big acting gig with a role in the soap opera, General Hospital.

She then appeared in St. Elmo’s Fire, Blame It on Rio, and About Last Night… In 1988, she was the star in The Seventh Sign and her famous role in the 1990 film Ghost alongside Patrick Swayze. After Ghost, she was given more prominent roles in A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal, Disclosure, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame—for which she was the first actress to make the $10 million salary mark.

Even thought she never surpassed the success of Ghost, Demi Moore was the highest paid actress in Hollywood. She became the founding “celebrity investor” in the Planet Hollywood chain of international themed restaurants. After a break in the acting world, she made a huge comeback in 2003’s Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle which she is famously seen walking up the beach in her bikini.

Demi Moore is seen spending much of her time helping those less fortunate. Her and now ex husband Ashton Kutcher created the Demi and Ashton Foundation set up to “help abolish modern day slavery, punish perpetrators and free the innocent.” Other charity work includes: American Foundation for AIDS Research, Artists for Peace and Justice, Chrysalis, Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking, DNA Foundation, Free The Slaves, GEMS, and the Healthy Child Healthy World.
